rebelled Jehoram, subdued under Amaziah…Struggle in womb and
following becomes picture flesh/spirit (Gal 5:17). Last great
struggle Herod and JC. Then utterly annihilated AD 70 to fulfill
Obadiah’s prophecy.

issue pride, not others…puts position where opponent God. Jms

self-determined act of justice to lay you
low. Pharaoh, Sennach, Neb...Should not fear/admire pride others.
God will surely deal, we need only fear in ourselves.

slaughtered. There is wisdom, but nothing to be proud of comparable
to God’s simple counsel. 1 Cor 3:19- 21For
the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,
"He catches the wise in their own craftiness"; and again,
"The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile."
Therefore let no one boast in men…
