Isaiah 30:18-33

Vs. 21  Jer promises same.  Jer 31:31-34 "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah-not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD.  But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."   Not some blessed day.  How did Cornelius know, Peter, Ananias, Paul (Macedonia).  Prior to Messiah, we had to seek after prophets.  When Hezekiah wanted to know… Isa 37:2, 5-7 When David wanted to know…1 Sam 30 "Please bring the ephod here to me." And Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

 So David inquired of the LORD.  But Paul said, But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,  Now, each one is led by God Himself.  We don’t need to chase prophets to know the will of God.  [Rabbis wrote: “In the days of the Messiah knowledge shall be renewed in the world, and the law shall be made plain among all.  The holy blessed God shall sit in paradise and explain the law; all the righteous shall sit before him, and the whole heavenly family shall stand on their feet; and the holy blessed God shall sit, and the new law, which He is to give by the Messiah, shall be interpreted.  Even the little children in this world shall find out the hidden things of wisdom; and in that time all things shall be revealed to all men.  There shall be no time like this till the Messiah comes, and then the knowledge of God shall be found in every part of the world."]  Doesn’t that sound glorious?  Personal everyday, every moment interaction with Messiah.  According Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.  Then goes on to quote Jeremiah.  It is here!  Peter told us Joel’s prophecy is fulfilled (Ac 2).  In fact, it is the daily interaction with God that I desperately long for and in fact is the reason all of us follow Christ.  Jn 6:44  Mauritanian decision making.  GOD IS TALKING!  Am I listening?  Not listening story w/ Loriena.  How do you listen?  Have you begun to run on instinct and analysis rather than waiting on God for His Word?  Not only may turn the wrong direction, but miss the reason for the cross. 

 

Jn 6:53Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.  "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.  "For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.  "As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.  "This is the bread which came down from heaven--not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever."

Ac 20:28 "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

1Co 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?  For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.

Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Col 1:14 in HIM we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

 Heb 9:12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

1Pe 1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

 Re 1:5 Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
